记者：考研快要到了，很多辅导老师和师兄师姐都表示，考试之前一定要做模拟试题，而考生确实也很重视这一点。那么考生应怎样客观正确地看待模拟题的作用？
印建坤：模拟题是一把双刃剑，考生在心态上应该客观正确地看待。今天做模拟题能得高分，并不意味着正式的研究生考试也能得高分。因为模拟题的出题者毕竟不是研究生考试英语命题组成员，不同的命题者有不同的思路，命题思路不同必然导致解题思路的变化。因而，对于模拟题，没有必要做得太多。考生惟一要遵守牢记的是：真题中的命题与解题思路是永恒不变的准则。
记者：辅导市场上的英语模拟题很多，考生到底应该如何选择？怎样充分发挥模拟题的作用？
印建坤：其实选谁的模拟题都一样。因为模拟题的命题者都不是命题者，本身就没有很大的区别度，区别的核心在于谁的仿真度高，我建议广大考生，对于任何模拟题都应用批判的眼光看待，不能迷信任何模拟题。在考研复习的最后关头，考生要以真题为主，配以模拟题，用真题中的解题方法与命题思路，批判地看待市场上的模拟题资料。不是说模拟题出得不好，而是因为模拟题和真题是有差距的。冲刺阶段模拟题的作用不在于提高自己的英语水平，而在于带给你一种应试状态。从数量上看，对模拟题最好每隔三四天做一套，这样一直保持一个最佳的应试状态，有利于考试过程中充分发挥水平。
记者：单词是考生比较头疼的问题。那么在冲刺阶段，考生应该怎样复习单词呢？
印建坤：很多考生认为以前已经背过单词，临考时不用再背了。其实单词一点都不看或花大力气背单词都是不可取的。在考试前，考生必须把历年真题中的所有单词都复习一遍，确保考试不因单词而失分。
在考研英语词汇大纲词汇有5500左右，其中中学词汇2500左右，有近千个单词从未考查过。真正词汇只剩下1800个左右。复习备考时要认真回顾复习这些词汇。考研英语单词里95%以上是考核过的单词，经验故事《考研英语冲刺复习：重点准备大小作文》。
记者：请介绍一下作文的复习方法。
印建坤：先说小作文。根据大纲与大纲解析的相关规定，今年小作文应用文的考查依旧是书信，理由是：大纲里有三条提到考查应用文范围的文章，但三条说法都不太一致，但三种说法里共同的地方是都提及了书信；其次大纲解析里对文体的解析中只对书信进行了详解。因而可以断定今年英语要考查的是书信的可能性依旧较大。考生对书信的写作应该给予特别重视。
对于大作文，从形式上看，今年依旧会考查图表、图画作文；在内容上看，考查话题应该是教育类、道德类、环保、人口、文化交流、身体健康、家庭关系这7个方面。复习期间考生要重点针对以上7个主题事先准备，充分备考，可以起到很好作用。
记者：2006年考研新增加了两种备用题型，请问这两种题型会怎么考查？考生应该怎样备考新题型？
印建坤：2006年英语考研大纲对新题型再次修改和变动，将原来7选5题型增加为扩大三种备用题型：7选5选择搭配题、5选5段落排序题、6选5论点找论据题和6选5论据找论点题，表现为四种题型。
根据2006年大纲解析精神，我们可以大胆预测，6选5论据找论点题考查的可能性较大。在临考前复习时要对这种题型给予重点准备。
记者：请介绍一下阅读理解的复习方法。
印建坤：建议考生对历年真题文章回头再次详细阅读，尤其要注意文章里的专业词汇与长、难句解析，这对于迅速分析长、难句很有帮助。
建议考生对所有题干进行分类：事实细节型、推理判断型、中心思想型、情感态度型、猜词型。按照所总结的题型寻找独特的适合自己的解题思路，然后用这些解题思路批判看待模拟题。只有这样，才能练成真正的武功；否则，如果没有掌握正确的方法和阅读解题技巧，只去做模拟题，就会误入歧途。
