在索道上我们可以看到张家界的全貌，张家界是那样的雄伟、那样的美丽；从索道往下一看，绿油油的田地、蜿蜒曲折的'盘山公路、茂密的树林、深山峡谷都尽收眼底。看着这些支撑索道钢绳的支柱，大部分都建造在悬崖峭壁之上，这创造了人类的奇迹。不得不让人为之赞叹。
经过四十分钟之后，我们来到了山顶。山上有着丰富的植物资源，其中有许多植物都属于国家保护品种。山上的森林茂密、怪石嶙峋，还有鸟语花香，简直就是一个绝美的“空中花园”。我们花了三个多小时的时间，总算游完了山顶。
