ladies and gentlemen:

itsquo;s my great honor to stand here to share my speech with you. today the topic of my speech is: the pursuit of dream.

now letsquo;s think of our old days as we were students in primary schools. have you ever remembered that the teachers often ask questions as whatsquo;s your dream?, or what are you want to be in the future? and whatsquo;s your answer in that childish and fantastic age? has anyone of you answered like this: i want to be a painter, or i want to be a scientist, or i plan to be a police?

a few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. then, have you ever changed your dreams? if so, whatsquo;s it?

but now, i think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. however, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?

as for myself, i have dreamed to be an excellent police in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. sooner i have realized how ridiculous am i and now i turn to realistic: i just want to be a translator.

how do i pursue my dream?

first of all, i try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the textbook or other english magazines such as: english weekly, english salon and the like. i try to do this day by day. now i have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.

secondly, i often do some translating extension and embrace my teachersquo;s suggestion. it benefits me much.

last but not the least, i realize my dream by reading chinese literature. maybe you will say itsquo;s what the chinese major students should do. if you say so, you are badly wrong. for as an english major student, how can you know others well if you even donsquo;t familiar with your country? on the other hand, it also benefits me in translation and writing.

in a word, i have already working in my dream. what about you?

thatsquo;s all. thank you.

关于梦想英语的演讲稿篇3

no young man believes he shall ever die. there is a feeling of eternity in youth, which makes us amend for everying.to be young to be as one of the immortal gods. one half of time indeed is flown-the other half remains in store for as with all its countless treasures; for there is no line drawn, and we see no limit to our hopes and wishes. we make the coming age our own-

the vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us, including our dreams.

so i'll say:concentrate upon your dreams and they will become material actualities. through concentration we work out our dreams in physical life. your future depends upon the dreams you are forming now. your past dreams are determining your present. therefore, if you want a bright future, you must begin to prepare for it today.

we say a man is as changeable as the weather. what is meant is his dreams change. every time you change your idea you think differently. you become like a rudderless boat on an ocean. therefore realize the importance of holding to your dream until it becomes a reality .

catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkles within your heart. take advantage of precious opporyunities while they still sparkle before you. always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as long as you commit yourself to it.

though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, remember that your destiny is hiding behind them. accept the fect that not everyone is goimg to approve of the choices you've made, have faith in your judgement, catch the star that twinkles in your heart, and it will lead you to your destiny's path. follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.

take pride in your accomplishments, as they are stepping stones to your dreams. understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourage you. value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. the greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hard work and determination. finding the star that twinkles in your heart for you alone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true.

so don't think that you are neglected, or not understood, or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.

don't pity yourself, criticise yourself. you know that the only thing in the world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

everyone has a dream. now i'll talk about my dream i what is my dream? i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.

now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doc-tor. i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. why has my dream changed? well, at the age of 11 i was ill, badly ill. i was told that i had cancer. i had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital. every day i suf-fered the troubles caused by this illness.

i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i made up my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.

i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. i want to let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.

i'll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i'm confident that through the joint efforts of you and me, man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and this dream of mine will one day be brought into reality.

good morning/afternoon, dear teachers and my friends. i'm a student from no.2 middle school of qugou. my name is zhao bingjie. i'm very glad to stand here to make a short speech for you. today my speech topic is "embrace the dream". many people have a dream about the future besides me. i had a beautiful dream since i was a young little girl. i really want to be an outstanding writer like guo jingming in the future, because i liked reading very much when i was a child. so, i practice writing articles in my free time, by doing that i feel very comfortable. i love my dream and i will try my best to make my dream come true. it's about my dream, what about you? do you have a dream? do you think everyone has their own dreams? in fact, you are wrong. many people never thought about future and what they will be like. they never have a dream . it's not good for them. only have dreams, then we can know what we should do for our dreams and try our best to make them true. so, it's important and necessary to have a dream. someone once said that success comes from a dream. so, fellow students, let's have a dream, and embrace the dream. then, we will have a beautiful tomorrow! my speech is over, thanks for your listening.

关于梦想英语的演讲稿篇6

i dream of being a doctor.

my mother is a doctor. she always has to work extra hours and comes home late and tired. she has to go to the hospital immediately any time she is needed, no matter how late it is at night. when i was very little and still in primary school, i once asked her why she chose such a boring and hard job. she answered with a smile, “yes i am sometimes very tired but seeing my patients getting better and better makes me happy from the bottom of my heart.”

as i grow up, i gradually come to understand her words and realize doctors are noble. i made up my mind to be a doctor when i was in junior school and this has never changed since then.

i really hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal disease, no one suffering from illness. but this is only a fantasy. what about the reality? there are still many many people who are faced with disastrous disease and suffering from constant pain. there are still many many people living in miserable condition and live miserably. there are still many many people dying of cancer and leaving the beautiful world reluctantly. all those things make me feel sad because i think everyone has the right to live . i want to help the sick and reduce their pain as much as i can. i want to bring a healthy body to the patients and save their lives as many as i can. i want to see people cured ,living happily with their families and friends after my treatment. so i want to be a doctor ,an angel in white.

when i become a doctor, i will cherish each life regardless of the races, sexes, ages, positions and occupations. i will do every bit to cure the incurable.

i already have a dream in my heart,so i have to make every effort to realize a high school student now,i will seize every chance to study hard, arm myself with knowledge, prepare myself for the future and strive for my dreams. i will be determined, face the reality bravely and not surrender to any problems i meet.

is’s like gothe says,“the important thing in life is to have a great aim and be determined to attain it.”being a doctor is my dream. i think it is simple but meanful.

i woke up and looked at my watch. oh my god, itsquo;s 7:30 already! i have to get up at once otherwise isquo;ll be late. today isquo;ll take the australian athletes as a tour guide around beijing, and isquo;m going to be the interpreter at the beijing olympic games opening ceremony tomorrow. this has always been a dream of mine since beijing won the bid of the olympics, and now the dream has finally come true—i have already become a successful interpreter. and today is another important day of my interpreting career. isquo;m a little nervous but, of course, very excited. here goes my plan for today:

well, our first destination is, surely, the landmark of beijing, the symbol of the 5000 yearssquo; civilization—the forbidden city—where the emperors and empresses of the ming and qing dynasties lived, and itsquo;s really grand. it was renovated recently because of the coming olympics.

the second place we are going to is the great wall. this is the only building, i hear, that can been seen from the moon, and it represents the diligence and the wisdom of whole chinese nation.

now, itsquo;s time for lunch. we plan to have what? you say beijing duck? yeah, right you are! wesquo;ll come back to the center of beijing, and wesquo;ll have dinner at quanjude restaurant. you can enjoy the most delicious chinese food—beijing duck, and you must be very pleased to hear this! then isquo;ll show you around the summer palace. itsquo;s the royal garden for the emperors and empresses of the qing dynasty to pass the hot summers.

after visiting those historical places, yousquo;ll surely be impressed by the long-lasting history of our great country. at the same time, during the journey of moving from one place of interest to another, we wonsquo;t miss having a glance of beijingsquo;s modern civilization. the skyscrapers, beautiful avenues and advanced facilities must also catch your eyes. and wesquo;ll also have a chance to experience beijingsquo;s fast development in person. wesquo;ll do some shopping at the shopping center near the olympics village. you can buy everything there of course except guns and drugs which are seriously forbidden in china. to see is to believe. what you see and experience will be strong prove of your choice to beijing, china!

thatsquo;s all about my plan for the day. what do you think of it, my friends? today, isquo;m very proud to be here to give a speech about a dream, a dream for which we worked together for nine years or even more. as beijing becomes the host city of the 29th olympic games, every beijinger cares for the environment and good manners and behaviors much more than before. now beijing has already made herselvessquo; dream come true. so i must work harder to catch up with her steps. knowing the hardness of making a dream into reality, i need to do my best at every side of my work, so then i believe my little dream—to be an interpreter—will definitely be realized someday in the future!

thank you
